Kenny Chesney’s Blue Chair Bay

Blue Chair Bay.

What does the name say to you?  Kenny Chesney hopes Blue Chair Bay evokes a place you want to go to after 5 o’clock and on weekends.  Or, all day everyday – if you’re like Kenny, who hasn’t worn a tie in over 20 years.

Reflecting his casual beach lifestyle, it’s a clothing line that begs to be tossed on and hung out in.  The mid-priced line is affordable and supremely comfortable.  It’s classic and cool and we’re not just saying that.

These are clothes that become instant classics. From the first moment you put them on, all the wear, all the lovin’ has already been done to it. The line uses a reverse dyeing process to give the clothes that worn-in look and feel. You can tell how soft the cloth is just by looking at it. Before you know it, you’ve worn the shirt three times that week.

The Blue Chair Bay premier collection consists of t-shirts, tank tops, hoodies, sweat shirts, khakis, jeans, ball caps, and more – all reminiscent of Kenny’s personal style.

The mid-priced line offers affordable quality clothing that will last for years to come.

We went to Levy’s in Green Hills for the line’s east coast launch in September.  Among wine and hors d’oeuvres, the new collection was casually splayed out on tables and racks.  A decked out tour bus that showcased samples dominated the parking lot.

The line initially launched at the famed MAGIC Marketplace, one of the largest fashion trade shows in the world, held in Las Vegas.  Kenny performed for attendees at the Hard Rock hotel.

Kenny says he’d been approached in the past about a clothing line but “the people at Blue Chair Bay got the things that were important to me…and they let me be involved with the design.”

Check out Blue Chair Bay’s entire collection at Levy’s in Green Hills – located at 3900 Hillsboro Pike.

Levy’s is recognized as the oldest men’s clothing store in America.  Kenny Chesney is recognized as the single best selling country artist of all time.  It’s a match made in heaven.
