Lush Lashes Lately?

It’s an exciting time in the world of beauty.

So many advances are being made at lightning speed that it’s hard for even estheticians to keep up!  There are so many great products out there that deliver fantastic results.  Of course, there are always the ones that don’t.  Sometimes it’s hard to know what to trust.

That’s why it’s important to get good advice from professionals who have already done the leg work for you.

This season, my favorite product by far is Latisse.

FDA-approved Latisse by Allergan is one of the most exciting products to come my way in long time.  It really works.  All of my clients who have purchased Latisse have been ecstatic with the results they are getting.

Long, full, silky lashes – in as short as 8 weeks.  Maximum results are usually achieved in around 12 weeks.   In fact, I personally had to trim my lashes during the first month!

How does it do such a thing?

Bimatoprost 0.03% solution helps aid the regrowth of your lashes in two ways; first, by extending the growth phase of your lashes, and second, by encouraging more eyelash growth during that phase.

You will find that there will be less and less need to dump on coats of mascara and you’ll even eventually be able to toss away your lash curler for good.  You will even be able to go mascara-free and still manage to capture attention.

before and after

It is very easy to use – all you have to do is to apply the solution to the base of your upper lashes once a day.  Doing so regularly will help you get the results that you desire.

The most common side effects after using Latisse are eye itching or eye redness.  These were reported by about 4% of patients in the clinical trials.  It may cause other less common side effects, which typically occur on the skin close to where Latisse is applied.  Latisse is available by prescription and your provider will explain any possible side effects in more detail.

My favorite serum of the season is IS Clinical Super Serum which is full of antioxidants to help fade brown spots.  For clarity and texture, try Revision Retinol.  To reverse years of sun damage, Obagi Nu Derm is my recommendation.

Remember to sleep on your back.  Not only will this prevent your products from coming off onto your pillow, it will also prevent wrinkles!  We can always tell who the side sleepers are by the lines it causes.  So, save your pretty pillow cases, preserve your products, and prevent wrinkles by sleeping on your back.

LASERS!

My favorite is the new Medi-Lite.  This amazing new laser will erase brown and red spots, remove tattoos, firm skin, and diminish fine lines…all without any down time!  You have to see it to believe it.

So, come see me and get fabulous by Christmas.

I really enjoyed the article by Gwen Morgan! Well written. It’s so true, it hard with the many products on the market to know what works and what doesn’t. Now I can go directly to the product I need without having to test for quality! I also like the suggestion of sleeping on the back…….makes total sense. Thanks……look forward to future articles!
